A Day in the Life: Balancing Mum Life, Work, and Love Mallorie.
Chloe DavisShare
If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd be working full time, running my own business and raising a little human all at once.... I would've laughed (or cried - depending on the dayπ ).
But here I am - doing it, learning, and sometimes just surviving - and honestly? I wouldn't change it for the world.
Morning Chaosβ
My day usually starts before the sun does - not by choice, but because my daughter seems to have her own alarm clock that doesn't believe in sleep-ins. The mornings are a blur of nappy changes, breakfast negotiations ("No you can't have squirty cream for breakfast"), and coffee - lots of coffee.
Once she's dressed and we're out the door, I switch into work mode. I work full-time, so my weekdays are a balancing act between being present at work and keeping Love Malorie running in the background - replying to customer emails during lunch breaks, checking in on stock, or jotting down content ideas while eating a sandwich.
Working Mum Modeπ»
During the day, it's easy to feel like I'm pulled in a hundred directions. Some days i feel super productive - other days, I'm counting down the minutes until bedtime so i can finally breathe. But I've learned that being a mum and a business owner means letting go of perfection. Things don't always go to plan - and that's okay.
I've found that Love Mallorie gives me a creative outlet - It's my space to dream, to connect with other mums, and to turn my chaos into something beautiful and meaningful.

Evening Hustleπ
Once I'm home, It's family time. Dinner, bath, bedtime stories - and then finally, once the house is quiet, I switch gears again. This is when I pack orders, update the website, or plan new designs for The Practical Mum Bag. Some nights I'm full of energy - other nights I'm running purely off caffeine and determination.
But It's worth it. Every time a customer message comes in saying, "This bag has changed my life", I remember exactly why I started Love Mallorie - to make motherhood that tiny bit easier, one bag at a time.
Β
Finding Balance (or Trying To)β
I won't pretend I have it all together - I don't. There are days I feel Overwhelmed, and days I question how I'm going to do it all again tomorrow. But I remind myself that my daughter is watching - and I want her to see that her mum chased her dreams, even when it was hard.
So to every mum out there juggling it all: you're doing better than you think. Your chaos is your magic. And somehow, we always fine a way.
